About Melt!
At Melt! we strive to provide a unique experience with a European flair.  
Melt! is a neighborhood café, wine and beer bar that is perfect for those
who want to settle in to a spot that isn't like all the rest.

Melt! is full of local character and flavor.  We feature local artists on
our walls and we showcase local musicians at our OPEN MIC nights.
There is always a spot for you at the bar or at one of our tables.

If you're looking for a place to snuggle up with your laptop, we have
free WiFi or if you want to play a game of backgammon or chess and
have a drink with friends we've got a selection of great games (and
drinks!) for you to choose from.  

Why not come visit us during one of our FILM  nights and take in a  
movie .  Or check out the latest "Beats" in North Beach at Open Mic on
Wednesday or see a featured artist on Friday.

Saturdays are all that Jazz with two great local Jazz bands "James
Washington & the Meltdown Crew" play all afternoon  3pm on & they
are followed at 6.30pm by "The HipCats" featuring Doug O'Connor &
Top Cat.

On Sunday you can sip your wine to the sound of classical guitar with
Eric Hamilton the master from 4pm

Melt! has been serving the historic
North Beach area of San Francisco since
August 2004.  Melt! is run by Gaynor
Lloyd who hails from Jersey (not to be
confused with New Jersey!). Jersey is the
most southern of the British Isles
although it is much closer to France
than England.
